Monster Girl Extravaganza Day 10!
Taking me a bit to get through these, but here we have Tachyon with Horse Girl Evolution
First of all, tell us a little about yourself? Online or Offline.
I am an aspiring writer hoping to go full time.
Where does your inspiration come from? What childhood books, or movies were your biggest draw?
A tv show and game called Uma Musume
What was your first story on Royal Road and how did it grow you and your brand from there?
This is my first story, so I hope that it will grow my audience enough to get published.
The exciting part, tell us about this newest release?
It’s a story about a silly horse girl doing very un silly things…
What made you choose to tell this particular story?
I saw an AMV (anime music video) of Uma Musume New Era and it gave me the idea to write.
What have you learned with previous writing that you’ve harnessed here?
Ie what is your writing process?
I’m not entirely sure how to answer this one. Most of my writing experience doesn’t actually come from writing, but understanding the process of movie making and how stories are told in a visual format. I take that and apply it to my writing process.
What is your biggest regret with writing? Or your hardest lesson learned?
Not every author has your best interest at heart.
If you could tell our new authors 3 things that helped you get to where you are today, what would they be?
Consume and experience life. Consume media that applies to your story and story telling, be it movies, tv shows, books, anime, comics, manga, etc. To tell a full and exciting story you must have both experience and other stories to draw inspiration from.
Focus on the process. Writing should be a hobby first, a career path second. If your love for the craft is not there at the beginning, you will fail.
Do not assume you know everything. If you are the smartest or the most experienced person in the room, you are in the wrong room.

Any other parting nuggets of wisdom?
Be open to different forms of criticism and opinions. Even less experienced people and authors can give you inspiration and unexpected ideas that can push your writing to the next level.
